Without Valentine's Day, There Might Be A Lot Less Love For February

In the race through our supremely long Canadian winter, despite the current blustery conditions, we are nearing the final lap. Although we are growing weary, there are occasional signs the end is in sight- which may be the perfect nudge towards Spring. The thermometer is quietly creeping up every so often; the sun lingers awhile longer and coaxes us out of the winter darkness; in the very back of our minds, we remember carefree life without heavy coats, hats and mittens. Soon, what lies beneath the frozen ground will be stretching out, waking up from their long nap. We're moving from Winter-Weary to happy Almost-Spring!
