It was a blustery weekend here in T-dot that left half the population sequestered indoors and the other half - those desperately craving fresh air - out on the streets braving the chillish breezes while wrapped in scarves clutching hot cups of java. Between appointments I took a stroll along Queen West to check out some of the galleries and shops, with a jaunt into The Great Hall where the Junction Flea was holding court until it could resume its Rain or Shine outdoor spot at Dundas and near Keele on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
I LOVE The Great Hall, with its amazing auditorium space.
And I love the Junction Flea for its eclectic creative curated mix of art, vintage finds and cool stuff. It's reasonably priced and far more interesting than any big box purveyor of anything.
Like how about a clock ($60), an 8 ball ($5) or a vintage silk scarf ($5)?
I bought the jaunty scarf above from one of my fav purveyors --> The Arthur which is around the corner from my Movie House loft on College Street. LOVE!
