Innovative, influential, and uber-skilled chef Mark McEwan has been blazing trails of flavour through the City of Toronto for years. He has now expanded his culinary creativity with the opening of his third “grocerant”: the McEwan grocery store at Yonge and Bloor! This impressive space spans a whopping 17,000 square feet and is housed in the mixed retail/residential One Bloor East building. It offers high-quality groceries for the discerning palate and the home chef enthusiast, along with grab-and-go food. For those wishing to nosh on-site, there are a number of sit down dining options as well.

McEwan’s Café features Lavazza roasts, pastries and all-day breakfast. There is a sushi bar and Fabrica Pizza. This foodie haven offers “make your own meals” that go far beyond your usual salad bar (although they have that as well). Think rotisserie meats & carving station, hot and cold bars and a sandwich station.

And the grocery stock? Well, it's really something! You’ll find all of your basic necessities and pantry staples, but you’ll also find a number of treasures and treats that will really, truly bring pleasure to those who love to cook: high end oils, market fresh produce and hard-to-find speciality items.

This store/eatery is proof that casual dining doesn’t mean compromising on dish quality or on dining experience, with sumptuous spreads and wide choice to please all palates!

Chef McEwan has two other similar ventures: a 21,740 square foot grocery store at CF Shops at Don Mills and a 5,500 square foot "grab-and-go" store or prepared meals in the Financial District's TD Centre.
