Wow, the City of Toronto was kissed by Winter this week which left a beautifully surreal urban landscape. It's magical.
For this bachelor, I hit the grocer, the confectioner, the hardware store and some gift shops! Along with stocking up on all the ingredients to prepare my heart-warming corn chowder, favourite Caesar salad dressing and Grand Marnier trifle to indulge this coming Holiday, I'm also getting into a festive spirit by incorporating some simple seasonal decorations in my loft.
For my 'tree', I placed a few beads and an exquisite embroidered circle - crafted by my talented Mom - on my ten foot tall sculpture made back in 2000 by Thingmaker Dave Hind.

My table is always a constantly-changing collage of personal mementos, keepsakes and snacks.
Here I placed some paper whites in a bowl and slipped in some snowflakes in celebration of the season.
How's that for keeping it simple?
At urbaneer.com, we'd like to extend warm wishes to you and yours for now, and 2015!
And thank you for your support.
