In a city bursting with local creative talent, beyond the flashing marquees of the city's major Performance Spaces, are all sorts of brilliant music, comedy, dance and theatre.
On February 19, 2010, my dear friend Alisa Walton, who has also been my superb pilates trainer for the past 8 years, and others are premiering their talents in Crow’s Feet Physical Theatre. Launching a one-night-only benefit (Goal: $8000) for St. Josephs' Health Care Centre Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Crow's Feet comprises of Circus Dance and Theatre artists all over the age of 40, many whom have worked together in Circus or Dance, or as Actors on Television. Among the talent are Dora award nominees, Gemini award winners, performers who have toured nationally and internationally, television writers and children’s television stars. The company co-created the show with the assistance of coaches who have taught with Cirque du Soleil, Ballet Royal de Wallonie, and even a theatre school director. The entire company are donating their time and talent to this show.
Please consider attending the show on February 19, 2010. Tickets are on sale now, the poster is attached to this email for your information. You can also view their blog here.
