Sunday Brunch & The Queen West Art Crawl

King West / Niagara / Liberty Village, Queen West

Okay, so I’m not a Cheerio’s fan but I thought this a great pic to chat about Sunday brunch.

As a realtor, my action-janet-life-on-the-go doesn’t always allow me leisurely Sundays to drink Mimosa’s and savour waffles with maple syrup and bacon (Hello? Canadian here!). This is because weekends are often booked chock-a-block with appointments unlocking the doors of properties for sale to prospective buyers. However, there are times when one has to shake up routine a little and, well, eat. When that happens, nothing beats meeting a client for brunch to laugh and rap about real estate.

Can I tell you how much I adore Le Select Bistro (http://www.leselect.com/), the fantastic destination for all food french on Wellington West of Spadina? Their Sunday brunch is fantastic, especially when lounging on their sun-splashed patio relishing the creamiest of quiches. Seriously, nothing says ‘Autumn in Toronto’ more than relaxing on a patio during a breezy day with just a hint of crisp in the air. The temperature was perfect, the service impeccable, the food superb and the company divine! Put Le Select at the top of your must-do brunch list k? Here’s a pic of our meal!

Did I see you yesterday amidst the crowds viewing the Annual Queen West Art Crawl located in Trinity Bellwoods Park? I love this event. It’s a great opportunity to witness the creative spirit of Toronto while enjoying a bit of nature. Here’s a PAST POST post on this dynamite urban refuge and the amazing art piece I bought last year!

This year I fell madly in love with Eva McCauley’s charming 6″x6″ piece called ‘Speir 2’ capturing the magical light and landscape of Ireland.  Eva’s personality and art is nothing less than vibrant! Love!

So what could be better than indulging in a great meal and strolling through the park viewing art from some of the best and brightest in Toronto? It would be doing this within minutes of leaving your own amazing stylish Penthouse Pied-A-Pad in Portland Park Village!

Offered for a remarkable $349,000, this penthouse with its own private cityvista terrace comes to market tomorrow fully furnished from top to bottom! Click HERE to learn more!
