Suddenly Spring Is In Full Swing!

If there’s a valuable reminder to be gained from the long-awaited arrival of Spring, it’s that patience is a virtue. In the depths of Winter, when the natural world seems at its darkest and dreariest, we thrive on our anticipation of Spring and the rebirth it brings – not only in nature, but in our lives. And when nature finally erupts with fresh beginnings and vibrant colour, we truly appreciate these great rewards that were cultivated during the long Winter months.

This experience of the changing seasons is a great analogy for Toronto’s Spring real estate market, which is now in full swing and already proving extremely competitive! Crowds of hopeful home buyers, finding themselves in one bidding war after another, are having to exercise great endurance, trusting that their housing stars will eventually align. After all, an accelerating market as diverse as Toronto's creates boundless opportunities; the key is to channel the patience of Winter, and wait for the right one to bloom!

The Other Side Of Rent Control And Toronto Real Estate

In the spring of 2017, the provincial Fair Housing Plan extended rent control policies to all units regardless of age. Perfection On Palmerston Near Queen Street West

Given the home's history, I adore how the renovations hints at the building's past, like the sunken floor, the exposed brick between the living and dining zones, and the iron girder that runs the length of the ceiling. However, it's the contemporary elements that are truly impressive. The custom chef's kitchen is a marvel of clean lines and sparkling steel, featuring pristine modern cabinetry and high-end built-in stainless steel appliances. The wealth of windows - front and back - bathe the space in natural light, while their matte black frames provide a...
