July Haze Calms Real Estate Craze

 
July has been a month of introspection for us, real estate-wise, with many of our blogs and newsletters addressing the multi-faceted experience of home ownership. We talk about physical obstacles (like asbestos removal), emotional stresses (like the grueling and draining journey house hunting can often be), as well as psychological issues (like the subconscious needs that draw a buyer to one home over another). And is there a better month for introspection? Amidst backyard barbecues, inviting patios, and lazing on the beach, there is no time like the leisurely days of summer to press pause and linger in the moment!

And while our real estate market does not seem to have a pause button, home sales did slow in July, partly due to the recent heat and humidity that has Torontonians feeling especially languid.
