PanAmonium Heats Up Toronto

Toronto is still basking in the glow of a successful PanAm Games, despite all the brouhaha over the HOV lanes, and our distress that Kanye West is NOT a Canadian. The games were an amazing spectacle, where Torontonians were bursting with their boundless enthusiasm to heat up every event.

Boundless enthusiasm wasn't the only type of heat Toronto felt this month. As the month progressed temperatures finally soared to the 30+ degree seasonal highs our City typically experiences during the Summer, creating a fog of humidity and several heat advisories. While heat waves can cool down a market, the weather appears to be less of a factor than in past years. The rock bottom low interest rates and the lack of inventory continue to fuel our scorching real estate market, in particular the demand for freehold housing. It looks like Toronto's real estate market may earn its own Gold Medal for endurance!
